Music Learning Collective (MLC) is an inclusive, community-based centre of excellence for aspiring musicians of all ages and abilities. Their student-centred approach supports creative and individual growth to enable each and every student to unleash their potential, regardless of age and ability.
Studio Seventeen have worked with MLC Academy to deliver a brand new brand identity, including a new logo, new colour palette and a new style guide. We have integrated this into a brand new website designed and developed using WordPress. The website contains information about their connections and affiliations with industry-leading organisations which create pathways to further and higher education, alongside professional performance opportunities throughout the year, all guided by their team of expert and highly-qualified teachers.
A fresh, modern take on the MLC logo was required. The responsive logo encapsulates the rhythm of the brand as a graphic equaliser, which can be used as a standalone shape. It is readily adaptable to work on both dark or light backgrounds, static or moving, for both print and digital assets.
Our task was to create a complete rebrand for MLC across all marketing materials, including a comprehensive style guide document. A vibrant new colour palette and modern typography have encapsulate the vibrancy, energy and excitement of the organisation.
The brand identity is dynamic, flexible and energetic. Shapes and colours are used as expressive visual devices to create a window in life at MLC.
Studio Seventeen redesigned and rebuilt the existing MLC website. The website is information-based and rich in both user experience and ease-of-use.
To enhance the user experience, there are smart transitions and scrolling effects, which give a subtle hint to the movement of an equaliser. Rich in imagery and colour, the website is a hub of informative and engaging content.
“Working with Studio Seventeen has been a breath of fresh air. Extremely professional team and the feedback from people across the world has been very encouraging. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
